About the clinic
Strive Holistic is a small holistic therapies practice that is nestled in the heart of downtown Edmonton, Alberta, within the revered and respected Evolve Strength Downtown health centre.
Strive Holistic currently offers deep tissue and relaxation massage therapy, Graston Therapy, myofascial cupping, intra-oral treatment for TMJ disorders, stretch & mobility therapy, PNF and PIR techniques, and Acupuncture.
We offer as many amenities with the goal of comfort, convenience and ease in mind. From direct billing, table length heating pads, comfortable blankets, warm towels, high quality memory foam face cradles and tables, and essential oils to suit every season and preference, our goal is to provide an experience that is as comfortable as possible.
Our clinic also has the benefit of taking advantage of the complimentary use of the steam room, showers, and includes free two hour above and underground parking, to allow for an experience that feels comfortable, convenient, and conscious of quality, ultimately focusing on the therapeutic aspect of your treatment.
In our pursuit to offer holistic therapy and wellness, our practice has affiliations with, and refers patients to, our many other trusted professional colleagues located within the health centre and beyond, as needed; for assistance in everything from nutritional advice, to psychology treatment, to personal training, physiotherapy, chiropractic work and more.

ACUPUNCTURE
A traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific muscles, myofascial tissue or meridian points on the body to stimulate energy flow, or Qi, and help with muscular relief.

A myofascial based therapy utilizing stainless steel instruments to lift superficial adhesions from connective tissue by creating microtrauma to the underlying tissue with a light sweeping technique.

INTRA-ORAL TREATMENT
Intra oral treatment is when a practitioner uses a latex glove to carefully treat muscular attachments that can only be accessed from inside the mouth.

THAI MASSAGE
The practitioner uses a mixture of techniques including passive movement of your body by folding, twisting, tractioning and stretching your body in a safe manner.
About Miranda
The owner of Strive Holistic, Miranda Horvath, is a local business owner, registered massage therapist, and takes pride in embodying a lifetime of ambitious pursuits through entrepreneurship. She’s done her best to lead with her heart and thrive in every industry she’s been involved in, which became the inspiration for the creation of the Strive Holistic practice. From running her first mobile piano teaching business in her hometown of Nanaimo, BC, to offering online business coaching for two years alongside her massage therapy contracting business, to creating a multi-disciplinary local holistic therapies practice that’s tripled in clientele and revenue since opening in 2022, she is passionate about striving to reach the potential of whatever the project is that she puts her mind to.
